Nourse Insurance Brokers was founded in 1935 by Richard Nourse. In that same year Fireman's Fund appointed Nourse Insurance Brokers and continues as a major market for the agency. Nourse Insurance Brokers is also one of SAFECO's largest producers of business and has been recognized as such. The agency now represents over 20 insurance companies and has developed a much respected and honorable reputation in the insurance industry.
